HSS: Immediate Surgery and Pre-Op Meal

Left HSS (Hospital for Special Surgery) with the news that I needed immediate surgery, which we had two days later. The day before the surgery, all I could eat was Jell-O and clear broth. Managed to grab a bite at my favorite deli, Sarge’s, before the procedure.
